Kapatone is the name of the stream that runs around our property.
Penllywd was imported from the Glenmore Stud in Australia. Penllwyd was breed by Miss Jannys McDonald. She is a extravagant mover like her sire Coed Coch Llabed and dam Coed Coch Patti. Penllywd started her show career as a yearling at Sydney Royal winning and many wins later finished her showing career in Australia taking out Supreme B Exhibit a the North West All Welsh Show Tamworth 2004 under Jane Edwards (UK).

Her Sire Coed Coch Llabed,(1977-2004), by Solway Master Bronze was purchased at the Coed Coch Sale in 1978 by Miss McDoanld. Coed Coch Llabed went Grand Champion of All Breeds in the National Stud Show in Sydney in 1989. Llabed finished his how career in 1990 at the New South Wales All Welsh where he went Supreme Welsh Exhibit.
Her Dam Coed Coch Patti was purchased by Miss J McDonald in 1977. Patti was Grand Champion at the New South Wales all Welsh show 1987 under Mrs Wendy Franks (UK) and repeated this success two weeks later at the National Pony Show. In 1989 Patti was Champion Welsh Exhibit a the National. Patti retired in 1989.
